Step 1: Remove the four screws on the fan's frame.
Step 2: Remove the 8 screws securing the lift motor.
Step 3: Remove the screws on the left side of the lift rod.
Step 4: Remove the manual knob underneath the lift motor. You can now take out the lift motor.
Step 5: Disconnect the wire connected to the lift motor.
Step 6: Remove the two screws connecting the lift motor to the lift rod (be careful not to disturb the spring's position).
Good job! You have successfully removed the lift motor. Now, follow the instructions to install the new lift motor.
Step 7: Attach the new lift motor to the lift rod using two screws (ensure the spring and metal plate are placed in the middle, with the spring on the left side of the metal plate).
Step 8: Put the lift motor with the metal plate into the recessed position.
Step 9: Secure the connecting rod on the left with screws and position the spring on the right as shown in the reference image.
Step 10: After positioning the spring, place the white cover on the lift motor and secure it with four screws.
Step 11: Connect the lift motor wire to the circuit board and fasten the wire into the clips along the frame.
Step 12: Tighten the four screws on the fan's frame.
