👉 How to install & operate ecosynic RV roof vent fan?

❤️ ❤️ Just a friendly reminder:
If the lid is closed, the ecosynic rv fan will automatically stop running.
➡️ So to make the fan work, please ensure the lid is open first.
If the fan still doesn't work after opening the lid, please check the following steps:
- Make sure the fan is properly connected to power → Red wire to positive (+), black wire to negative (–).
- If you are using remote, make sure the remote's infrared signal is properly aligned with the RV fan's sensor, and confirm the remote control batteries are charged and properly installed if you are operating the fan using the remote.
- Try using the panel buttons to start the fan.
If the fan blades still do not spin(the fan blades remain still) by clicking panel buttons, there are usually three possible reasons:
- The motor wiring that controls the fan blades may have loosened during transportation.
- The RV power supply voltage is unstable and cannot drive the fan. → Our RV vent fan without light is compatible with DC 6–14V only, while the fan with light version supports DC 7–24V only. To ensure proper compatibility, please use a voltage tester to check your power supply. If the voltage is too low, use a power stabilizer to boost it before connecting the fan.
- The fan’s circuit board is faulty (this is very unlikely, since every fan is tested before shipping to ensure proper function).
How to identify the cause:
➡️Step 1: Open the motor cap and reconnect the moto wires, making sure they are securely attached.
Detailed instruction, please click here.
➡️Step 2: If the fan blades still do not spin after completing Step 1, please proceed to install a power stabilizer(we suggest using a power voltage stabilizer with an input voltage of 5–32V and an output voltage of 12V).
How to connect power stabilizer? Please click here.
➡️Step 3: If the fan works after installing the stabilizer, the issue was caused by unstable/low voltage.
If the fan still does not work and the fan blades still do not spin, then it is 100% certain that the circuit board is defective. In that case, please contact our after-sales support line and we will send you a brand-new circuit board free of charge.
👉 How to replace motherboard?

If the fan has stopped working or the blades no longer spin, please follow these steps:
1. Try rebooting the power system of EcoSynic RV roof vent fan. And check that all wiring connections are secure, as wires may become loose during travel.
⚠️⚠️Warning: Make sure the power is off before checking loose wires.
2. If the issue persists after checking the above, no worries — please contact us and we can provide you with a replacement motor.
Once the motor is replaced, your rv vent fan should work properly again.
🛡️Within the 3-year warranty period, we offer a free motor replacement upon request.
👉 If the warranty has expired, the motor can be purchased from us directly✨:

⚠️ Remote Control – Lid Not Opening or Closing Automatically
If the automatic lid function via remote control is not working, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
✅ Step 1: Test the Remote Control
Press the "Lid Up" or "Lid Down" button on the remote.
If the lid can open or close using the remote, the issue might be that the remote's infrared signal is not aligned properly with the rv fan's sensor.
Please make sure to point the remote directly at the fan when using it.
❌ If the Lid Does Not Respond to the Remote, proceed with further checks.
✅ Step 2: Click Rainy Mode from remote control/interor panel to unlock the auto-close function.
When rain is detected, the fan automatically activates the auto-close feature. During this time, the lid cannot be opened using the remote control or the panel’s “Lid Up” button.
To force the lid open, press Rainy Mode from remote control/interior panel to unlock.
✅ Step 3: Try the Fan Panel Buttons
Use the "Lid Open" or "Lid Close" buttons on the fan's control panel.
– If the panel buttons can open or close the lid, then it's likely the remote control is faulty.
– If the panel buttons fail to open the lid, the issue may be related to the motherboard or electric lift motor, pls continue to step 3 with further checks.
✅ Step 4: Use the Manual Knob to Open the Lid
Try turning the manual lift knob on the fan to open the lid manually:
– If the lid opens manually, the issue is likely with the motherboard.
– If the lid cannot be opened manually, the issue is likely with the electric lift motor.
🛡️Within the 3-year warranty period, we offer a free motor replacement upon request.

The lid is limited to a 45° opening and can’t open further via remote or buttons from fan panel.
For a wider opening, you would need to remove the lid manually.
👉 Please feel free to contact us([email protected]), we have larger trim options available.
Or click here to order larger 5.8" trim.
👉 No worries! Our trim can be easily cut to your desired height by using a saw.
For a very thin RV roof, all you need is an RV A/C gasket. It fills the gap, prevents the frame from protruding inside, and makes trim installation possible.
✅ Refer to the guide below for step-by-step installation.
